RUSVM Safe serves as the official safety application for Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM). This app is distinctive in its seamless integration with the institution's safety and security systems, reflecting the efforts of Campus Security SOC to bolster the safety of students, faculty, and staff on campus. Through RUSVM Safe, users can receive crucial safety alerts and gain immediate access to essential safety resources.

The application encompasses several notable features:

 <li>Emergency Contacts: Direct access to emergency and non-emergency services relevant to the RUSVM area.</li>
 
 <li>Friend Walk: Users can share their location with a friend via email or SMS. Upon acceptance of the request, the user selects a destination while their friend monitors their progress in real time for added reassurance.</li>
 
 <li>Safety Toolbox: A comprehensive suite of tools designed to enhance personal safety, including:
 <ul>
 <li>Notification History: Access previous push notifications along with their timestamps.</li>
 <li>Share Map with your Location: Provide friends with a map indicating your precise location.</li>
 <li>I’m OK!: Send your location along with a message confirming your safety to a designated recipient.</li>
 </ul>
 </li>

<li>Campus Maps: 
 <ul>
 <li>Campus Map: A navigational aid for traversing the RUSVM area.</li>
 <li>Evacuation Map: Identifies gathering points following an evacuation alert.</li>
 </ul>
 </li>

<li>Emergency Plans: Access critical emergency documentation capable of preparing users for various disasters, available even without Wi-Fi or cellular service.</li>

<li>Support Resources: Consolidated access to various support resources to foster a positive experience at RUSVM.</li>

<li>Safety Notifications: Instantaneous alerts and instructions during on-campus emergencies issued by RUSVM safety personnel.</li>
</ul>

This application can be downloaded to bolster personal preparedness in the event of emergencies on campus.
